Agreement: These particulars dictate the terms of the CommunityVotes Promotion (the "Promotion"). No purchase is required to participate, be nominated, cast a vote, or secure a win in the Awards. By participating in this Promotion, you agree that you understand, will abide by and consent to the following Terms and the determinations of the Promotion Host. Decisions are final and binding for all participants.

Please read these terms and follow the prompts online to complete and submit the online entry form (the "Nomination") within a subcategory before the end of the Nomination Period. The Nomination Period begins on Saturday December 16 at 6:00 am and ends on Sunday April 14 at 11:59 pm. In order to be eligible for judging and to win, any nomination must be received before the deadline end. Each member of the public can cast one (1) nomination per business/professional per category per 24-hour period within the Nomination Period.
Kindly review these terms and adhere to the online prompts to finalize and submit the online entry form (referred to as the "Nomination") before the conclusion of the Nomination Period. The Nomination Period commences on Saturday December 16 at 6:00 am and concludes on Sunday April 14 at 11:59 pm. To qualify for evaluation and to be considered for winning, every nomination must be submitted prior to the closing deadline. Each individual from the general public is limited to casting one (1) nomination per business/professional per category within a 24-hour timeframe during the Nomination Period.
In association with their submissions, every individual submitting a Nomination asserts, denotes, and/or guarantees that: (i) they possess or have acquired the necessary licenses, rights, consents, and permissions to utilize and authorize the Promotion Host to employ all copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights in and to their submission to facilitate the inclusion and usage of the submission as envisioned by these Promotion terms; (ii) their submission complies with all applicable laws, statutes, ordinances, and regulations, and will not lead to any claims of infringement, invasion of privacy or publicity, or violate any rights and/or interests of any third party, or result in any claims whatsoever; and, where applicable, they have acquired the written consent, release, and/or permission of every distinctly identifiable individual, professional, or business in the submission to employ the names or likenesses of such entities to enable inclusion and usage of the submission as intended by these Promotion terms.
Submissions must not, at the sole and unrestricted discretion of the Promotion Host, be slanderous, libelous, inflammatory, pornographic, or obscene, and must not contain, include, discuss, or involve any of the following: coarse, vulgar, or offensive language and/or symbols; derogatory characterizations of any individual or group based on ethnicity, race, sexuality, religion, or other categories; content that endorses or discusses any illicit, inappropriate, or risky behavior; and any personal information of individuals, with the exception of the name of the professional or business being nominated, for which consent has been obtained as outlined in (ii) above.
The Promotion Host retains the right to reject, modify, or disqualify any submissions or nominations that, at its sole discretion, are deemed offensive, inappropriate, not relevant to a category, too geographically distant or do not adhere to these terms and conditions.
The professionals/businesses in each category who have received the most Nominations at the end of the Nomination Period will be selected as Finalists and will be listed on the appropriate Promotion website listed above to be voted on by the public. In the event of a tie between certain nominees, both will be selected as Finalists.
Voting: Members of the public will be able to vote for their chosen Finalists between Wednesday April 17 at 6:00 am to Sunday May 19 at 11:59 pm (such period, the "Voting Period"). Members of the public are restricted to one vote per Finalist per category during the Voting Period.
Any votes considered to be fraudelent, at the sole discretion of the Promotion Host, will be removed and may be deemed ineligible from participation in the Promotion.
Ranks and Awards: At the end of the Voting Period, the Finalists in each category will be ranked by number of votes received and will receive one of the following ranks:
the Finalist with the most votes in a category will earn the rank "Platinum Winner"
the Finalist with the second most votes in a category will earn the rank "Gold Winner"
the Finalist with the third most votes in a category will earn the rank "Silver Winner"
the Finalist with the fourth most votes in a category will earn the rank "Bronze Winner"
each of the remaining Finalists will earn the rank of "Top Pick".
In the event no votes are submitted by members of the public during the Voting Period for a particular category, the Winners within that category will be selected by counting and ranking the Finalists according to the number of Nominations each received.
Finalists with ranks will be published on the website starting Wednesday May 22 at 6:00 am.
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible nominations, votes received, and the quality of the nominees. A potential Winner’s representative may need to answer a skill-testing question to be eligible.
Contact: We will endeavor to reach out to individuals included on the official list of nominees for whom we have contact information, particularly those with the highest counts. However, given the extensive volume of nominees, we cannot guarantee that everyone will be successfully contacted. Members of the public can sign-up to be contacted via email when important dates have occurred in the Promotion, such as when the Winners have been announced.
Content Restrictions: "Content" refers to content such as text, images, or other information that can be posted, uploaded, linked to or otherwise made available by you, regardless of the form of that content.
You may not transmit any Content that is unlawful, offensive, upsetting, intended to disgust, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene or otherwise objectionable. Examples of such objectionable Content include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Unlawful or promoting unlawful activity.
- Defamatory, discriminatory, or mean-spirited content, including references or commentary about religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, national/ethnic origin, or other targeted groups.
- Spam, machine – or randomly – generated, constituting unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, chain letters, any other form of unauthorized solicitation, or any form of lottery or gambling.
- Containing or installing any viruses, worms, malware, trojan horses, or other content that is designed or intended to disrupt, damage, or limit the functioning of any software, hardware or telecommunications equipment or to damage or obtain unauthorized access to any data or other information of a third person.
- Infringing on any proprietary rights of any party, including patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright, right of publicity or other rights.
- Impersonating any person or entity including the Promotion Host and its employees or representatives.
- Violating the privacy of any third person.
- False information and features.
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to, in its sole discretion, determine whether or not any Content is appropriate and complies with this terms document, refuse or remove this Content. We further reserve the right to make formatting and edits and change the manner any Content. We can also limit or revoke the use of this service at our sole discretion.
Privacy: We process personal information of entrants and nominees to manage this Promotion, which includes announcing and promoting winners, and may share this information with third-party service providers (e.g., prize suppliers) for award fulfillment and delivery purposes. Banning: The Promotion Host reserves the right to prohibit any individual from participating or winning the Promotion if, at its sole discretion, it finds that the individual is attempting to undermine the legitimate operation of the Promotion by abusing the terms or the essence of the awards. Such abuses include, but are not limited to, submitting false information, exceeding the allowed number of entries, nominations, or votes as per these rules, is physically located outside of the region deemed accepted by the Promotion Host, or attempting to manipulate voting or purchasing votes. Any attempt to participate in voting manipulation or purchasing votes may result in removal from the Contest at the sole discretion of the Promotion Host.
Abuse of any kind, whether verbal, physical, online, or otherwise, will not be tolerated under any circumstances in relation to this Promotion. The safety and well-being of all participants, staff, and stakeholders are of paramount importance to us. Any individual found to be engaging in abusive behavior may be immediately disqualified from the Promotion at the discretion of the Promotion Host. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy on such matters, and the decision to disqualify will be final and not open for appeal.
User Registration: To vote or make purchases, user account registration is mandatory. By registering, you commit to providing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date information about yourself.
If you opt to login via social media platforms like Google or Facebook, you consent to our collection, use, and disclosure of your information from that account as per these Terms and our Privacy Policy. The data we access depends on your chosen social media platform's settings. Please check the respective platform's privacy settings to control our access and interaction with your account.
You are responsible for: (a) keeping your passwords or account details confidential, and (b) any activity, transaction, subscription, or purchase made through your account, including relevant fees and taxes for paid services. Notify us immediately if you detect unauthorized access to your account.
Accounts are for individual use only, limited to one per person. Do not impersonate others or register on their behalf. Avoid using credentials we find inappropriate. Do not share your login details. Misusing your account, having multiple accounts, sharing login details, or violating these Terms can result in suspension, termination, or the withdrawal of services or products without notice. If you submit inaccurate or false information, or if we suspect it to be so, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to our services. Engaging in fraudulent or illegal actions could lead to account termination at our discretion, and potential referral to law enforcement.
Usage Limitations: All emblems, brand names, and logos associated with the Promotion are properties of the Promotion Host, its affiliates, or their respective proprietors. Their exhibition doesn’t grant any rights or licenses to any participant or third party and unauthorized uses are strictly prohibited.
The Promotion is null where prohibited by law. The Promotion Host may alter or annul the Promotion or its terms anytime without notification. The awards are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-convertible to cash and come with no warranties or guarantees.
The Released Parties bear no liability for any lost, late, misdirected, or stolen entries or for any errors, damages, or negligence that may occur, including technical issues, viruses, website disruptions, malfunctions, human error, or property damage.
Use of any automated system including robotic or form filling software for entries is prohibited and will lead to disqualification. In case of a dispute over who submitted an online entry, the authorized account holder of the provided email address at the time of entry will be deemed to have submitted it.
Release, Copyright License, and Moral Rights Waiver: By participating in the Promotion or accepting a Nomination or award, each entrant and Nominee definitively:
Permits the Promotion Host to utilize their Promotion entry or "Nominee Details" (which includes name, residence, images, submissions, and statements) in relation with its business activities, specifically for this Promotion or other advertising initiatives, across all existing and future media, without additional permissions or compensations.
Assigns to the Promotion Host a perpetual, irrevocable, global, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to publish, display, distribute, edit, or alter any Nominee Details for this Promotion and other purposes, relinquishing any moral rights they may hold in the submitted Nominee Details. All participants commit to fulfilling any required documentation to validate the rights accorded under these official regulations.
Consents to the Promotion Host’s use of their Nominee Details in advertising, including online publications on websites and social media, acknowledging that such publications make the Nominee Details public, and releases the involved parties from any liability related to the copying, reproducing, or any unauthorized use of the published Nominee Details and any resultant damages or losses. Winning Nominees may need to validate their eligibility and release the involved parties from any liability, comply with Promotion terms, consent to the use of their name and Nominee Details without further compensation, and transfer any intellectual property rights, including copyright, in the Nominee Details to the Promotion Host, waiving their moral rights in the Nominee Details.
You must have a parent or legal guardian's written permission to submit any Nominee Details if you are under the age of 18.
Indemnification: By participating in this Promotion, every entrant and/or Nominee agrees to indemnify and defend the Promotion Host, its affiliates, subsidiaries, representatives, officers, employees, and all related personnel ("Released Parties") from all liabilities, claims, damages, costs, or any other forms of loss (including legal fees) incurred due to your participation in the Promotion; utilization of any award; violation of these Promotion rules or any third-party rights including, but not limited to, intellectual property or privacy rights; or any claim asserting that your submission or Nominee Details inflicted damage to a third party.
Suggestions: We welcome your ideas and suggestions for enhancing our services or content. All submissions of suggestions or ideas ("Suggestions") will be governed by these terms. Submission of Suggestions implies no obligation of confidentiality or expectation of compensation on our part. By submitting a Suggestion, you waive all rights therein, represent its originality, assert that no third party holds rights to it, and acknowledge that we may implement the Suggestion, in original or modified form, without any obligation for compensation, notice, or third-party permission.
