Stokes and Associates Psychological and Forensic Services

We provide psychological and forensic services in several ways: therapy for children and adults of all ages, couples, families, as well as offering groups. Specializing in trauma, substance use and behavioral addiction disorders, and mood disorder's; attachment, neurotypical and neurodiverse disorders, personality disorders, ASD, neuropsychological and mental health/health disorders, holistic approaches and systems approaches, as well as a full range of evaluation services for competency/criminal responsibility, Autism, ADHD, Specific Learning Disabilities, Dementias and related disorders, Mood disorders, personality disorders, assessments for preoperative bariatric surgery, for HRT and transition surgery, fitness for duty, risk/violence assessment, sex offender assessments and more. We have served as mediators and have worked with schools, with Iowa Workforce, Social security/disability, hospitals and clinics, State, Federal and Juvenile court, churches, and related mental health agencies, like DHS. Dr. Stokes serves on the Child Advocacy Board and other child serving and advocacy boards. She is joined by experienced and trained therapists/in training therapists, Amy Koerselman, Nancy Baker, Cynthia Pelton, Angela Ericson and Nicholas Mechikoff. We are proud that Amy recently published another book that surely represents the elegant, holistic and spiritual approaches she used in therapeutic practice.
